Mid-Range Storage… Unity and SC Series, both positioned as leaders by Gartner and IDC, which product would win? Turns out, while both are indeed industry leaders, they had always been positioned differently – different architectures and different personalities.

Brian Henderson (@bhendu) , Director Product Marketing EMC Mid-Range Solutions, sets the record straight, and the message was clear at Dell EMC World 2017.   We are doubling down on investments in both Dell EMC Unity and the Dell EMC SC Series. The introduction of Dell EMC Unity All-Flash and the SC Series storage arrays were the mid-range focus; but as always, it’s the software enhancements that bring the real value.
